Zach Taylor new GM at Taylor Power Systems

Taylor Power Systems, the Clinton, Miss., manufacturer of mobile and stationary generator sets for oil & gas, industrial, commercial, business, health care, telecommunications, municipalities, agricultural and rental power applications, announced that Zach Taylor has been named general manager. He will also oversee the activities of Taylor Metal Fabrication, another company within the Taylor Group.

Zach Taylor is the fourth generation of the founding Taylor family to move into senior management within one of the Taylor Group of companies.

“Zach will be responsible for managing the daily operations of Taylor Power Systems, including sales, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and Taylor Metal Fabrication,” said Steve Duke, director of Taylor Power Systems. “Zach has been involved in implementing several new systems that have proven vital in helping our company grow to new levels. He has worked closely with all departments to introduce new generator models, product advancements and is consistently working to get us into new power generation markets. Zach has an excellent knowledge of manufacturing which will continue to facilitate increased production output along with managing increased sales to more customers that are needing fabrication, welding, and paint work through Taylor Metal Fabrication.”

Zach Taylor went through the company’s management training program while attending college, which gave him extensive work experience in many areas of the Taylor Group. After college, he went through an intensive training program, working through every manufacturing area within Taylor Power Systems, along with sales, engineering, purchasing and product support. Leading up to this promotion he served as operations supervisor for Taylor Power Systems.
