MTA presents two solutions designed to simplify the development of modern vehicle electrical systems. Cube Box uses an innovative molding concept based on interchangeable inserts, enabling multiple fuse and relay layouts to be created from a single mold, while Modular High Voltage Boxes provide scalable high-voltage distribution through configurable modules. Both solutions enhance flexibility, integration and adaptability across multiple applications.

To address these challenges, MTA develops advanced solutions across 5 strategic technology domains: Protect & Distribute, Connect, Power, Control and Display. These domains cover the core building blocks of modern electrical and electronic architectures, enabling OEMs to optimize energy distribution, power management, data connectivity, vehicle control and driver interaction.

In this edition, we focus on our Protect & Distribute portfolio, highlighting two solutions designed to enhance power distribution, protection and system reliability in modern vehicle architectures.

The Cube Box: Redefining flexibility in power distribution

The patent-pending Cube Box introduces a new approach to Power Distribution Units, transforming a traditionally static component into a dynamic and configurable platform. Thanks to its innovative modular architecture, OEMs can create application-specific configurations using a single housing concept, significantly increasing design flexibility while reducing development complexity.

Designed to support a wide range of fuse and relay configurations, Cube Box enables highly tailored solutions for different vehicle architectures while maintaining the robustness, reliability and serviceability required by modern automotive, commercial vehicle and off-highway applications.

mHVPB & mHVAB: Modular high-voltage power distribution for electrified platforms

As vehicle electrification continues to expand, high-voltage power distribution systems must combine safety, scalability and ease of integration. MTA’s Modular High Voltage Primary Box (mHVPB) and Modular High Voltage Auxiliary Box (mHVAB) have been developed to answer these requirements through a flexible modular architecture capable of adapting to different vehicle configurations.

Designed for both primary and auxiliary high-voltage loads, these solutions allow OEMs to build customized power distribution systems using standardized modules, ensuring maximum versatility while reducing development effort. Their scalable design supports the evolving needs of modern electric platforms, delivering reliable power distribution, advanced safety features and seamless integration within increasingly complex vehicle architectures.
