19 May 2022
Following on from the successful New Power Progress Summit 2022, NPP has made a streaming video of the event available.
The summit opened with a keynote presentation from Amy Davis, president of the New Power division at Cummins. Her coverage looked at the development of diesel technologies, including hybrid solutions, together with more information on the planned range of ‘fuel agnostic’ engines which will use a variety of low-emission fuels.
Other speakers and topics included in the summit were:
- Deepak Shekhar, product manager, E-Mobility Solutions, Scania, who spoke about electrification technology for industrial applications
- Benjamin Oszfolk, systems engineers, Fuel Cell Energy Storage Systems, Marine, at Rolls-Royce Power Systems, who covered fuel cell tech for marine applications
- Peter Tepfenhart, product manager for Construction Machinery and David Stockbauer-Muhr, head of Electric Systems Development for Off-Highway Applications, both from ZF. This joint presentation looked at electrified drivetrain tech for off-highway applications
The summit was rounded out with a presentation from Tim Burnhope, chief Innovation & Growth officer at JCB. In his presentation, Burnhope covered development JCB has made in improving the efficiency of diesel engines, plus a review of how the company has developed its hydrogen internal combustion engine.
KHL Group and New Power Progress would like to extend thanks to all the presenters who took the time to join us for the event and to all attendees for taking part.
