Lighting tower and generator specialist Trime is to launch a range of diesel-powered generators.

The new line, which encompasses a power band between 6kVA to 670kVA, features the latest diesel engines from the likes of Kohler Stage V, Yanmar, FPT Iveco and Perkins.

The company said the units offer a complete range of power yields to suit an exhaustive number of applications, in both single and three-phase outputs and are ideal for the UK and Ireland hire markets.

They are described by Trime as ultra-silent, rental and industrial generators, each built to the same high standards of reliability and sturdy construct as its previous lighting tower launches.

Paul Hay, Trime UK managing director, said, “Trime power products have been hugely successful throughout the world, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to add them to our product portfolio.

“All of our sales and service engineers have considerable experience in the power generation industry having worked for a number of leading genset suppliers.

“Purchasers of Trime generators will effectively be buying directly from the manufacturer. We will be building up our stocks of finished products ready for quick delivery. A full spare parts and backup service will be made available helping to ensure that hire firms get favourable utilisation from their Trime units.”

As well as diesel-powered models, Trime has added sustainable solutions in the form of hybrid, solar hybrid and battery packs in recent years.

For example, last year it launched the MGTP 24000/30 THS 3P Stage V unit, a 24kVA solar generator fitted with a 48V -24000VA inverter, a 28.7 kWh battery pack and two 360w solar panels.
