Daniel Strucks to head MAN Engines

MAN Truck & Bus has announced that Daniel Strucks is to take over as head of MAN Engines.

In his new role, Strucks will head a seven-person management team at the Nuremberg, Germany headquarters covering Strategy & Product, Development, Sales, Finance, Partnerships & Initiatives, and Services & Network.

A mechanical engineer, Strucks has ‘extensive management experience’ in the commercial vehicle and components industry. He has held had a series of roles previously at MAN Truck & Bus, including head of Commercial Service Operations in Customer Service and head of Sales & Customer Solutions IT.

As part of this, Strucks made a significant contribution to the digitalization of customer-oriented processes.

Strucks takes over from Mikaeil Lindner, who together with his role as head of Cluster MEA & CIS at MAN and managing director of MAN Truck & Bus Middle East FZE in Dubai was also acting head of MAN Engines.

From November 1, Strucks will report to Friedrich Baumann, member of the Executive Board for Sales & Customer Solutions at MAN Truck & Bus.

“With his extensive experience in the areas of digitalization, aftersales, international business development and component sales, Daniel Strucks will provide decisive impetus for the strategic development and market positioning of MAN Engines,” said Baumann.
