Himoinsa expects year-on-year sales growth of 22%

Himoinsa has reported that it expects to achieve a 22% increase in revenue for 2026 compared to numbers from the previous year. The power specialist noted that much of this growth has come from increased sales in its home market of Spain.

Himoinsa has been operating in Spain for more than four decades. Over that time the company has developed an extensive sales network.

“Spain continues to perform very well and has become one of the strategic markets within our growth plans,” said Juan Ignacio Perona, sales director at Himoinsa Spain.

“The increase in our market share reflects customers’ confidence in Himoinsa and the significant work carried out by our sales network, whose expertise and technical knowledge enable us to continue growing sustainably.”

Himoinsa has been part of the Yanmar Group since 2015. A group from Spain recently visited various Yanmar sites in Japan to get more details about the technologies, manufacturing processes and quality standards which support development of engines integrated into Himoinsa’s energy products.

The delegation visited Yanmar’s Biwa facility, which specializes in the production of compact industrial engines used in Himoinsa gen sets, including the HR, HS and HI ranges, and also various lighting tower models.

Yanmar’s Anagasaki plant produces high-power engines including the BY V12 and V16 models. These feature in the Himoinsa HGY Series gen sets which were launched in 2024. Developed jointly by both companies, these are suitable for critical infrastructure and large industrial facilities.

The tour concluded at Yanmar Synergy Square, the headquarters of Yanmar Energy Systems (YES) and the same division which includes Himoinsa.

As part of this last stop, an award was presented to José Martínez, CEO of Godima, a distributor of Himoinsa products for almost as long as the company has been in operation.

“We have felt part of this company practically since its inception, nearly four decades ago,” said Martinez. “We have always placed our trust in Himoinsa because it is a solid brand in the market and for the quality of its products, with which we have carried out countless projects in sectors such as industry, construction, the residential sector and agriculture.”
