Monroe launches DCx piston valves

Part of Tenneco, Monroe Ride Solutions is a supplier of suspension systems and related components for light vehicles, commercial trucks and off-highway equipment.

The company has now introduced its Monroe DCx (Double Comfort Experience) piston valve for double-tube Monroe OE Solutions dampers.

The passive damper tech is said to deliver a balance between driving comfort and handling performance while also helping OEMs to reduce noise, vibration and harshness (NVH)) in their vehicles.

The DCx valve features a dual-stage bleed technology which ensures minimal damping forces at very low piston rod velocities. This helps to isolate the high-frequency road surface vibrations and other micro-vibrations which contribute to NVH issues.

Tuning allows independent setup for rebound and compression to ensure optimal force control.

The DCx valve is compatible with Monroe Ride Refine secondary valve system, helping to support an additional series of tuning options and capabilities.
