New Kubota Engines at GIE
26 September 2018
Kubota Engine America’s (KEA) newest engine, the 0.9L, three-cylinder turbocharged D902-T-E4 diesel, will make its debut October 17-19 in booth #2084 at the 2018 Green Industry and Equipment Expo (GIE) in Louisville, Ky.
Featuring the same footprint as its counterpart, the naturally aspirated model D902-E4 mechanical engine, the D902-T-E4 has an output of 24.8 hp (18.5 kW) at 2800 rpm and a maximum torque of 78 Nm at 2000 rpm. The engine is designed for use in the turf industry as well as applications including utility vehicles, mini excavators, mini-track loaders, trenchers and welders. It is U.S. EPA Tier 4 final and EU Stage 5 compliant, KEA said.
A complete feature article on the D902-T-E4 will appear in the October issue of Diesel Progress North American.
Kubota will also introduce the V1505-CR-T engine to the U.S. market at GIE. The V1505-CR-T, which was unveiled at the Intermat show in Paris earlier this year, is a vertical, water-cooled four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine. It can achieve a rated output of 44 hp (33.0 kW) at 3000 rpm with a maximum torque of 118.5 Nm at 2000 rpm.
