Axiomatic Technologies Corp. adds networking functionality to many new controllers.
Axiomatic Technologies Corp. has added ethernet TCP/IP and Modbus TCP/IP networking functionality to many new controllers.
Protocol converters provide a communications interface between machines and their master controls.
The company said its new protocol converter, AX141810 (shown), offers fast and bidirectional data exchange between a CAN network (SAE J1939), RS-485 bus (Modbus RTU) and ethernet (Modbus TCP/IP).
The AX142150 protocol converter features bidirectional data exchange between an ethernet (Modbus TCP/IP), a RS-422 bus, a RS-485 bus, a RS-232 bus and a CAN network (SAE J1939). It has power, link and speed LED indicators.
The AX140900 CAN/ethernet converter can be utilized for CANbus monitoring, two-way remote CANbus monitoring and synchronization as well as CANbus extension over ethernet applications.
The AX032150 is a rugged controller with four digital signal inputs, an ethernet port and a SAE J1939 port. It operates on 12V/24V battery power.
The AX140700 six-port ethernet switch, interfaces multiple ethernet devices in a machine cab to the vehicle SAE J1939 CANbus.
Model numbers AX032100 and AX029000 are I/O controllers with ethernet for DIN rail mount machine applications in protective control panels.
Axiomatic said its controls feature compliance for harsh environments with surges, load dump, power transients as well as exposure to dust, water, humidity and vibration. They are designed for utilization on machines that work outdoors.
