VMAC introduces the 12/24V Battery Booster, a compact onboard system designed to give service vehicles battery boosting capability for both 12-volt and 24-volt equipment in a single integrated system. It is suited for service trucks and vans supporting construction equipment, heavy machinery, commercial vehicles and fleet maintenance operations.
The new Battery Booster uses independent booster batteries that are isolated from the service vehicle chassis during boosting, while the vehicle’s charging system maintains the booster batteries between cycles. The 31.6-lb. unit measures 17.75 in. long by 16.6 in. wide by 7.5 in. high, enabling integration into weatherproof service truck cabinets.
The system is available with heavy-duty booster cable configurations – in 30-ft. or 10-ft. options – to suit different service truck layouts and reach requirements.
