Kaeser Kompressoren updates portable compressor range

Compressor manufacturer Kaeser Kompressoren is updating its portable compressor lineup with the launch of the M76 and M81 models.

Both the M76, equipped with a Kubota engine, and M81 with a Hatz engine, replace the existing MOBILAIR M82 model.

Designed for use in cable blowing, blasting work, bubble curtain and concrete spraying applications, both units  offer two adjustable pressure ranges: 6-10.3 bar and 6-14 bar, allowing users to select air delivery and pressure combinations based on their applications.

Kaeser said this flexibility is particularly useful for dry ice blasting, resulting in optimal efficiency.

Optional equipment includes a tool lubricator or a microfilter combination for applications requiring technically oil-free compressed air.

Both can also operate without a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system or AdBlue, simplifying exhaust aftertreatment requirements.

They feature a newly designed control panel and an automatic shutdown function as standard. A revised maintenance schedule and a spin-on cartridge for oil separation are also said to streamline servicing and reduce waste.

For construction sites requiring electricity, both models can be equipped with a generator available in 8.5kVA and 13 kVA variants. The control system also distributes power to ensure maximum compressor output when needed.

Optional features include a lockable cover flap for the generator control panel.
