05 August 2025
As with the previous couple of months, July saw a number of executive moves in the industry. Here’s a roundup of what has proven to be a busy summer season.
Bailey International: Scott Andrews

Bailey International, a supplier of hydraulic components and electronic controls, has named Scott Andrews as its new vice president of sales. Based in Knoxville, Tenn., Andrews will transition into the role over the coming months alongside current VP Stan Schultz, who is preparing for retirement.
Andrews brings more than a decade of sales leadership experience, most recently as vice president of Commercialization and Global Sales at Magnum Venus Products. He has also held senior roles at Magnum Canada and led sales across the Americas.
Chris Rowley, Bailey’s vice president of Hydraulics, said Andrews’ global expertise positions him well to strengthen customer relationships and fuel growth. Andrews said the opportunity to join Bailey was too good to pass up and looks forward to driving further success.
Cummins: Several appointments
Cummins has elevated four leaders to vice president positions, effective August 1, citing their global experience and contributions to innovation and business growth.
Elma Avdic was named vice president of Components Engineering and will lead global product and software engineering for technologies such as turbochargers and fuel systems.
Yongquan Chai becomes vice president of Components China, overseeing the region’s full Components portfolio and joint ventures.
Karen Weber, now vice president of Ethics and Compliance, brings a legal background focused on global litigation and regulatory guidance.

CEO Jennifer Rumsey said their leadership will help power Cummins’ long-term strategy and deliver for customers worldwide.
Custom Products of Litchfield: Dan Amundson and Jeff Iverson
Custom Products of Litchfield has restructured its leadership team following the retirement of President Scott Maki. Vice President of Operations Dan Amundson and Vice President of Engineering Jeff Iverson will now share leadership responsibilities in a move the company said will support continued innovation and market growth.
Amundson and Iverson bring deep institutional knowledge and will focus on advancing design, manufacturing and customer solutions. Custom Products, a Minnesota-based manufacturer of operator cabs and ROPS, said the transition reinforces its long-term commitment to quality and engineering excellence.
Develon: Woohyun Kim
Develon North America (HD Hyundai Infracore North America) has appointed Woohyun (WH) Kim as CEO, overseeing operations for the heavy and compact equipment brand across the U.S. and Canada.

A 25-year veteran of Doosan and HD Hyundai Infracore, Kim brings deep experience in sales, business management and finance. Most recently, he led commercial planning and sales operations, playing a key role in product strategy and launching the company’s Customer Utilization Plant near Savannah, Ga.
Kim said the company has “made significant progress in recent years,” citing strong dealer support and an expanding equipment lineup.
HD Hyundai Infracore’s Jaeyoung Moon said Kim’s global leadership experience—including posts in Seoul, South Korea; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and Atlanta, Ga.—makes him well suited for this strategic North American role.
Husqvarna: Glen Instone
Husqvarna AB has appointed Glen Instone as its next CEO, effective August 11, 2025. Currently president of the company’s Forest and Garden Division, Instone will succeed Pavel Hajman, who will step down by year’s end.
A 22-year Husqvarna veteran and member of group management since 2018, Instone has held senior roles including Group CFO and vice president of Global Sales & Services.
Chairman Torbjörn Lööf praised Instone’s leadership and deep business knowledge, noting his role in shaping the company’s forthcoming strategy, to be unveiled in December.
Instone said he looks forward to leading Husqvarna through a pivotal period, continuing its legacy of innovation and customer focus built over more than three centuries.
Red Dot: Richelle Frank
Red Dot appointed Richelle Frank as general manager of its Puyallup, Wash., operation. She’ll focus on improving quality, efficiency and scalability, while fostering collaboration with the company’s site in Memphis, Tenn.
CEO John Beering cited Frank’s leadership experience across automotive and construction markets, including roles at Ford and various startups, as key to Red Dot’s future growth in OEM and aftermarket segments.
A Michigan native and Michigan Tech alum, Frank said she was drawn to Red Dot’s people-first culture and drive for continuous improvement. “There’s loyalty, talent and a real drive to do things better.” She said she’s excited to “listen, learn and partner with the team to unlock the full potential of what we can do in Puyallup.”
