Customizable Electronics
08 April 2019
MTA showcases in Hall A2, stand 627, its full range of off-the-shelf customizable dashboards, displays, and control units.
The product range is composed of six dashboards: Spot, Quik, Quik Plus, Revo, Revo Plus, and Smart; four display: Zip, Giotto, Giotto K and Leonardo; and two electronic control units: Dyna and Actua.
MTA’s latest in-vehicle system architecture – SIC – is also exhibited and is installed in a show cab so visitors can test it live.
SIC is based on an intelligent central unit that uses the latest generation multicore microprocessor by Texas Instruments. It can handle up to four full-HD displays inside the vehicle and collects information coming from the vehicle, from cameras through BroadR-Reach technology, and from wireless connectivity.
The unit can be adapted for additional functions such as 360°surround view function, using four digital cameras to have a full view around the vehicle and eliminating blind spots.
SIC is available either with Linux- or Android-based software architecture.
