Gates Names New President

Gates Corp., a global, diversified industrial manufacturer of hydraulic and power transmission products and systems, recently appointed Grant Gawronski president, Americas Region, reporting to Ivo Jurek, Gates CEO.
In his new role, Gawronski is focusing on executing the company’s regional strategies with specific oversight of Gates’ Commercial Original Equipment and Replacement businesses along with the company’s Oil & Gas business interests.
Before coming to Gates, Gawronski was group president – Electrical Industrial and Infrastructure at Eaton Corp. Earlier, he was group president at Cooper Industries and spent 18 years at GE.
