Manitou Group has announced the appointment of Mark Hanson as regional vice president and CEO of Manitou North America. He succeeds Daniel Miller, formerly CEO of Manitou Americas and president of the Compact Equipment Product Division, who left the company earlier this year.

Located in West Bend, Wis., Manitou North America is a subsidiary of Manitou Group, a global supplier of construction and agricultural equipment sold under the Manitou, Gehl and Mustang brands.

“We are excited to welcome Mark at a time when Manitou Group is bringing many new innovative products to global markets,” said Laurent Bonnaure, executive vice president of Global Sales and Marketing for Manitou Group. “Mark has a great team in place, and his strong leadership and industry expertise will help Manitou, Gehl and Mustang become market leaders in North America.”

Hanson’s appointment as regional vice president and CEO builds on his more than 28 years of industry experience, including 11 years with Hertz Equipment Rentals Corp. and 11 years with Genie Industries, both in executive sales and marketing roles. Most recently, Hanson served as vice president of sales for eight years at Generac Mobile Products where he led the North American sales and national account teams.
