The OEM’s 30,000 sq ft stand will feature live technology demonstrations, full-scale equipment displays and interactive digital exhibits.

Hitachi says the showcase will highlight how its engineering heritage is evolving to address future jobsite challenges, including labour shortages and productivity pressures.

Among the technologies on display will be new Machine Guidance functionality designed to improve jobsite precision, the Landcros Connect fleet management and machine monitoring system, and autonomous haulage solutions for mining applications.

Visitors will also be able to see semi-autonomous excavator technology capable of learning and repeating operator-led tasks.

Hitachi will also present technology developed in collaboration with winners of its 2024 startup challenge, including Sodex, Teleo and Veristart. The company has invested in and worked with the startups to develop solutions aimed at improving machine access and operational efficiency.

Hitachi says its Japanese manufacturing expertise will be reflected in the design of the open equipment display area, which will feature several new machines.

The exhibition also comes ahead of a major brand transition. In October 2025, Hitachi Construction Machinery confirmed that it will change its corporate and brand name to Landcros from April 2027. The company said it will maintain its existing manufacturing standards, dealer support and business practices, while expanding its focus on digital and autonomous solutions for future jobsites.
