Railway Interchange show postponed over COVID-19 concerns

Biennial event moved to 2023
Railway Interchange, which bills itself as the largest railway exhibition and technical conference in North America, is postponing this year’s show over COVID-19 concerns.
This year’s event, originally scheduled for Sept. 26-29 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, will now be held Sept. 30-Oct. 30 2023 in the same city.
“After careful thought and much consideration, Railway Interchange regrets to announce the difficult decision to postpone Railway Interchange until 2023,” organizers said in a news release. “Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and global scope of the event, we are ultimately unable to guarantee a safe and successful event that would meet the goals and expectations of our exhibitors, attendees, and other industry partners.
“Our top priority remains the health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, and staff. Exhibitors and sponsors will receive additional information shortly regarding next steps.”
The biennial event typically draws 8000 attendees and features more than 700 exhibitors.
