Reintjes Expands Sales Base

Propulsion specialist Reintjes has expanded its worldwide sales and service network. The company recently opened a new branch office in Paraguay to serve the markets there and also Uruguay, Argentina and the south of Chile. This follows the company strategy of being closer to the customers, it said.
Office manager Marcelo Escondeur has been a business partner for Reintjes in his position as general manager of the distributor Hardo Consulting Cono Sur Srl.
Based in Hameln, Germany, Reintjes makes marine gearboxes, in particular for work boats, fast vessels and fast ferries for engine ratings between 250 and 30 MW. The company has also developed its new RTG high-speed gearbox series for use in stationary industrial applications.
