Turbine Specialist Expands
23 February 2018

A United Kingdom-based gas turbine maintenance company is expanding and has announced a string of new appointments.
Turbine Efficiency Ltd, headquartered in Lincoln, England, specializes in the maintenance, overhaul and servicing of gas turbines and their associated equipment.
Now the company has opened a new office in Westhill, Aberdeen, Scotland and will establish a base in Dubai in 2018.
Both facilities will offer regional support for parts supply, technical support, manpower and contract management. Each will have a regional account manager and 24-hour global support desk.
Chris Turner, Turbine Efficiency’s chief executive officer, said: “The location of the Aberdeen office will help serve the needs of the oil capital of Europe, enhancing the service we offer to our local clients, and providing a quality range of services to meet the changing demands and requirements of the business.”
Turner added: “Since the acquisition of Turbine Efficiency by Core Capital Partners in late 2016, investment in the company combined with a completely new board of directors and a restructured management team, has brought real focus back into the business and created a tangible bow-wave of change.
“The result of this was that the business was able to build on the new foundation and turn the loss of 2016 into a forecast-beating performance in the second half of 2017 which has brought the group back to profit and moves us into 2018 with a solid order book of business.”
The company has also announced several new appointments. They are David Wong, global sales director, Callum Rumble, customer service and projects director, Katya Lamb, group general counsel and Stephen Smith, regional account manager.
