09 April 2019
Yanmar has developed gas-powered industrial engines that utilise LPG (liquid petroleum gas) and meet both U.S. EPA Tier 2, CARB Tier4 and EU Stage 5 emissions regulations and will debut them at Bauma.
By adding the two clean burning and quiet industrial engine models, the four-cylinder, 2.2 L 4TN88G which as a maximum output 45 kW and the four-cylinder, 3.3 L 4TN98G with a maximum output of 63 kW to its lineup, Yanmar said it is ready “to better meet the diverse needs of its customers.” Furthermore, Yanmar said it has plans to introduce bi-fuel specification models that can run on both LPG and gasoline.
The two new high-output, industrial diesels that made their debut at Intermat in Paris in 2018, the 4TN101 (maximum output 105kW) and the 4TN107 (90-155kW) with two-stage turbocharger, are at Bauma
This time, the 4TN107 with single-stage turbocharger will, for the first time, feature its DOC+DPF+SCR emissions after-treatment system. The company’s new 3.4 kW L48V and the L70V (4.8 kW) and L100V (6.8 kW), Stage 5 engines are on show as well as a range of Stage 5 TNM/TNV Series units.
