The Ram brand, part of Stellantis, announced that its first available fully electrified vehicle is now open for orders. The 2025 Ram ProMaster EV is a purpose-built, customizable, last-mile delivery van targeted to a variety of business sectors, including the growing home delivery environment, construction services and more.

The ProMaster EV comes with a standard 110-kWh battery pack that enables a targeted range of up to 164 miles combined driving. The battery is positioned under the floor in the center of the vehicle, maintaining a flat floor while cargo volume is unchanged from internal combustion engine vehicles, the company stated. A 200-kW electric drive module (EDM) delivers 268 hp, 302 lb.-ft. of torque and standard front-wheel-drive capability.

The new van comes in two mission-specific configurations, including a step van model and two cargo van models.

The cargo van is rated for up to 3,020 lb. of payload while the step van configuration offers 2,876 lb. of payload before options and upfit.

The ProMaster EV comes with Uconnect 5 with a 10.1-in. touchscreen featuring split-screen capability and content from SiriusXM with 360L. Other connectivity features include Amazon Alexa, 360 Surround View Camera, TomTom navigation, wireless phone charger and dual phone connectivity.

The 2025 ProMaster EV cargo van model will arrive at dealerships in the second quarter.
