DynaGen brand to become Cattron
16 July 2021
Change follows Cattron’s acquisition of DynaGen Technologies in December 2020
After July 20, the DynaGen team will be doing business as Cattron, and the controllers offered by them will also carry the new name. The changes are a result of Cattron’s acquisition of DynaGen Technologies in December 2020.
“The shift of DynaGen to Cattron is a signal of the combined strength and readiness of both companies to operate cohesively under the Cattron brand.” said Ryan Wooten, CEO, Cattron, Warren, Ohio. “DynaGen’s Tough Series solutions are already tough, and now with the power of the entire global Cattron team behind them, they just got tougher.”
The combination of Cattron and DynaGen is expected to bring capabilities and support to the portfolio including:
- An increase in product development and engineering resources to assist with bringing new solutions to market
- Increased manufacturing capabilities in North America and Europe
- Access to increased technical support, field service and depot repair to enable support on a global scale
- A comprehensive portfolio ranging from telemetry, monitoring and management solutions that increase efficiency to safety-driven, wireless remote control solutions that protect people and assets
Cattron said that while the company name is changing, many things will remain the same. The same staff will be in place to support DynaGen customers. The DynaGen portfolio will remain as it is and positioned as a primary product brand in the Cattron portfolio. In addition, the DynaGen office in Nova Scotia, Canada, will remain in operation and Cattron said it is planning for significant growth.
