At the 2025 National Farm Machinery Show, held Feb. 12-15, in Louisville, Ky., Kubota Tractor Corporation unveiled the MX4900, the newest addition to its line of utility tractors and its largest chassis to be offered with an HST.

Available in ROPS and cabbed versions, the MX4900 is designed to provide the power to perform a range of applications, from transporting hay bales to grading a driveway or performing general property maintenance. Two types of transmissions are available: a gear drive transmission matched with a 50.3-hp turbocharged engine with eight forward and eight reverse speeds, and an HST transmission model with a 51.8-hp turbocharged engine and three-range speed. Both models come with a Kubota engine and common rail system (CRS) with electronically controlled fuel injection.

Some of the tractor’s comfort features include a spacious operator station, optional suspension air ride seat with optional armrests on the cab model, ergonomically placed controls and standard rubber floor mats as well as new optional dealer-installed LED lighting kits. The cab model is heated and air conditioned and comes with an optional rear defogger and rear wiper. A turf tire option facilitates use in turf and municipal fleets.

The optional LA1065A front loader provides the lift capacity, lift height and breakout force needed for heavy-duty jobs and features simultaneous lift and dump capabilities of the loader and bucket to help improve productivity, Kubota noted. It comes standard-equipped with a two-lever quick coupler that allows for easy attachment and detachment of other optional front attachments.

The MX4900 will be available in Spring 2025 at authorized Kubota dealers.
