UK-based parts distributor and remanufacturer Carwood Diesel Systems has launched reman capability for Euro 6 F2 fuel injection systems which feature on Volvo, Renault, Hyundai, DAF and Mercedes-Benz trucks and other off-highway machines.

The process returns fuel and emissions performance to as-new and is backed by a matching warranty.

“By achieving a 99.7% and 95% reduction in particulate matter and NOx respectively versus Euro 1, Delphi’s F2 systems are helping fleets to bridge the gap with near-future, zero-emission technologies,” said Mick Friar, head of Sales for Commercial Vehicle, Off-Highway and Large Engine at Carwood.

He continued: “The challenge for remanufacturers like Carwood has been how to maintain these exact same operating standards - 3000 bar pressure, multiple injection events, 38-character correction code - in the aftermarket, but at a more budget-friendly price. To do that, we’ve adopted an OE-approved process that mirrors the complexity and intensity of the production of the original component.”

Available off the shelf, Carwood’s reman range includes both pumping and non-pumping variants for F2E, F2P and F2R systems.

As an authorised distributor, the company also stocks a full range of Delphi new and exchange pumps and injectors that now feature on more than 1.8 million vehicles worldwide.
