Reorganization at Blachford UK Ltd.

Blachford UK Ltd. (BUK), a location of the Blachford Acoustics Group, has announced that Managing Director Jason Lippitt will be resigning from the company effective in November. Lippitt purchased the then TMAT Acoustic Technologies in 2011 and has been aboard as managing director since its acquisition by Blachford in 2015.

With Lippitt’s departure, Patrick Thompson, Blachford UK’s current sales director, will transition into a new Blachford UK’s Sales and Innovation Director position. In this new role, Thompson will oversee Sales, Research & Development, and Project Management. He will report to the president of Blachford Acoustics Group, Matt Taub, who rejoined the company last summer. In addition to Thompson’s new role, Blachford UK will be hiring an operationsdirector who will also report to Taub.

Laura Bawden will continue as finance director of BUK and Ken Kendall maintains his role as technical Director, reporting to Thompson.

“I am very pleased that Patrick has accepted the Sales and Innovation Director position,” said John Blachford, owner and chair of Blachford Acoustics Group. “Laura, Patrick and Ken have all made big contributions to the success of BUK. Although Matt has been with us only since last August, he is doing a terrific job managing our acoustical materials business in North America. I am very confident that he will lead BUK to significant improvements in many areas and build upon Jason’s many achievements.”
